First, I am a huge Tymber Dalton fan. I love all of the books I have read by her, and this one did not disappoint. If you are familiar with her previous work, it was right up there with Love Slave for Two in terms of it's intensity and emotional connections. I felt this story. I could not put it down. It was steamy and heart wrenching, and FANTASTIC!
I am not good at recapturing a stories fine points, so all I can say is this is an emotional roller coaster for each of the characters involved. I think I felt all three of them from their perspectives equally, and I cared for all three of them. There was plenty of hot sexy points to counter the emotions. I hope this isn't the last we see of this book...hopefully a follow up!

WOW! A very emotional read, but also a difficult read at times. When I was about half way through this book, I had to continually remind myself that Cris really did have a choice, this was a consensual relationship, and he could leave or stay, the choice was his to make. Landry was a really complex character and the glue in this relationhip. On one hand, he is a sadist and from a readers perspective can be seen has cold and visious, but then he has this completely other side that is so sweet and nurturing. A reader would never doubt for a second that he deeply loves Cris and Tilly. This book has it all, the complexities of a relationship that has survived hurtful tragedies, but was able to heal itself, find forgiviness, and ultimately love again. I higly recommend this book if you enjoy complex BDSM romance stories with sometimes flawed characters struggling to make it all work.
