Product Description Can you fall in love in thirteen hours?
It's her birthday but lonely workaholic Dana Watts is at the office late, drafting a proposal. The very last interruption she expects comes in the form of the most beautiful breasts she has ever seen. These belong to an incredibly hot woman, who is standing in front of her, stripping to music.
Laurel Stanley performs strip-o-grams to pay her way through school. She has never encountered a more ungrateful recipient than Dana. The uptight project manager makes it clear that she is furious to be distracted from her work by the "gift" a colleague sent and equally appalled by Laurel's occupation.
After Dana is rude and insulting, and insists on escorting Laurel from the building, the two women take an elevator ride that changes everything. Stuck with each other for thirteen long hours after the elevator breaks down, they discover how wrong first impressions can be and how right two strangers can feel together.
Can everything change in less than a day? Dana and Laurel set out to discover if their passionate elevator encounter can mean more in this fast-paced, erotic story of lust, loneliness, fantasy, and desire.

Thirteen Hours December 3, 2008 Mango I absolutely loved "Thirteen Hours". It starts off in a very interesting position, and gets better and better as the story goes along. Dana Watts, a woman who puts all her focus on work, gets a birthday surprise in the form of a gorgeous dancer named Laurel. She is shocked and angry by the intrusion and escorts the woman out personally. Unfortunately---or rather---fortunately, the elevator they ride in loses power and the two woman are stuck together for quite some time.
I won't go any further except to say that this book involves a lot of sex. It's not bad or anything but I would have liked Dana and Laurel's relationship to focus on more than just the great sex they had together. Personally, the first part, when they are trapped in the elevator, was my favorite part of the book.

Take a student who is working her way through school as a stripper, bring in a conservative, closeted professional, and you have great chemistry. Add a broken-down elevator and lots of free time and you have a fantastic premise.
This is the most intense book I've read in a long time. It is rightfully categorized as an erotic romance and I don't expect any less from this talented author. Don't get me wrong - the story is great all by itself, but the way O'Brien writes physical scenes is unsurpassed by any of her peers. The scenes are relevant, believable, masterfully written, and interjected into just the right places throughout the story.
Always a fan of O'Brien, I anxiously awaited this book and was not disappointed. The characters of Laurel and Dana are well developed likable. Their personal growth and further development is an unexpected bonus for the reader.
Bottom Line - One of O'Brien's best books, I thoroughly enjoyed `Thirteen Hours' and almost wish I could get trapped in an elevator with a beautiful stranger.
I got what I paid for! September 5, 2008 Ahuva (Toronto, Canada) This book is very sexually explicit. If that bothers you than steer clear of buying it.
I loved it! It was great to read a 'no holds barred'..raunchy and very sexy honest book. I thought the author created 2 real characters with great dialogue and storyline. There is no excuse or reason given here for the amazing sex these two women delve into - there shouldn't be. I'm so glad Bold stroke published this one and didn't hide her in one of their collection books. Way to go Meghan! Can't wait for your next one.
