If given the chance, would you love and allow yourself to be loved? December 2, 2007 Jeremy Mcbean (Huntsville, AL - Washington DC) Christopher David has out done himself on this one. This book captures you from the first sentence to the very last phrase. I'm On My Way... I'm not going to sit and write a formal review. What I will say is GO GET THE BOOK. We as humans search the world for happiness, for this thing we call love, for the ONE but when presented with it are we able to keep it and enjoy it. To cherish it and make it last for ever. This book breaks it down, and it not until you understand the phrase "I'm on my way" will everything else make sense. It makes you laugh, it makes you mad, it makes you cry. But don't worry, "Baby, I'm on my way."
Left me a bit shocked... September 14, 2007 I Stay in the Gray Area This was a well written book. No doubt about it, and the story itself was amazing. I read a lot and so generally, i can see when certain things are coming in stories that i read. This story through me for a serious loop. Not in a bad way at all, but in an "aww man, i didn't even see that one coming kind of way." I feel praise should go to the author for such a compelling plot, that i feel may people could probably even relate to. The lengths that we would go to to keep a love that we have struggled to find for so long. This world can be a lonely place when there is no one to share it with, and this book shows us that i think.
THAT IS ME! April 30, 2007 Kevin J (SW Florida) Over the past few months I have ordered and read a truckload of books in this genre. To say the least they have run the gamut from good to unbelievably poor. This book by Christopher David captured my attention on page one and refused to release it until I had read each and every word. During the course of reading this novel I had to pause several times wondering how Mr. David knew so much about my personal life and wove it into his characters. I've never met the author, yet he writes passages that made me scream out, "THAT IS ME!", "I FEEL JUST LIKE THAT" or "THAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME". I cannot say enough positive things about this book. I feel like I am cheating the author by only rating this book 5 stars. 10 stars would be much more appropriate!
This book is the truth!! March 9, 2007 Isaiah W. Young This book is amazing. You will enjoy the dialect and the characters for sure. I can relate to all of them. I recommend this book to everyone who understands the struggle of "the life"...and who don't. It's def a page turner. Def an eye-opener as to how and why we feel the way we do. I'm very proud of Chris David's work. I look forward to more of his works. Keep up the good work!!
Good Read November 18, 2006 M. Webb (TSU) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It had great elements to it, The story line and plot twist; especially the ending made me get up outta my seat, it sent me somewhere that no writer hasn't honestly sent me before.
